How To Lose Weight Fast : Top 11 Diet Foods To Make You Fat

Nutrition is often the exact opposite of the truth that people believe to be true. It is full of all sorts of myths, misconceptions and lies.

Here are the 11 diet foods that people believe healthy, but works oppositely to be fatter than to be thin.

1. Breakfast Cereals
Cereals are so-called healthy foods; possibly most of the people eat in the breakfast, work the worst. They are rich with refined carbs and sugar that are called the most fattening matters in present.

If you start your day with a processed cereal, you will increase your blood sugar and insulin levels up. Your body will definitely require for another snack or meal within a few hours, as the blood sugar starts to crash soon.

It’s unfortunate that most of the cereal providers claims healthy like whole grain or low fat on the package, but are usually filled with sugar. Then also, read the label seriously.

Take breakfast with something unprocessed filled with protein like veggies and eggs.

But, if you want to eat cereal in the morning, pick that have a very little sugar or refined grains.

2. Fruit Juices
What is the truth about fruit juice? Is it made from fruit or not? The juice made from fruit may be healthy.

The truth is that the so-named fruit juice that comes from food manufacturers is not made from fruit. It is just fruit flavored sugar water.

Sometimes there is no fruit in them, they are just made with water, sugar and some chemicals with fruit taste.

Even if you have 100% real fruit juice, you should not drink it. Good stuff of fruit is taken out to it juice.

For whole fruit, the sugar it contains is bound within the fibrous cell walls that slow down the release of the sugar into the bloodstream.

But for fruit juice, it is totally different, as there is no fiber, no resistance and nothing to stop you from mixing sugar into the bloodstream. The sugar mixes into the bloodstream in a matter of seconds. The release of sugar also is high than a hole fruit. One cup of orange juice contains the sugar as much as the sugar for two whole oranges.

The sugar content comes from fruit juice is as similar as to the sugar-sweetened beverages like Coca Cola.

So, if you want to lose weight, eat whole fruit, but avoid fruit juice.

3. Agave Nectar
Agave nectar is not healthy at all, even it is worse than sugar. It is often marketed as a natural alternative to sugar and high fructose corn syrup. It has excessive amounts of unhealthy simple sugar fructose which are highly responsible for fattening.

Agave contains fructose more than sugar; agave contains 70-90% fructose while sugar contains 50% fructose.

You may think about fruit fructose, it is very fine and healthy; but the excessive amounts of added sugars have devastating effects on metabolic health.

High amounts of fructose elevate blood sugars, affect harmfully on cholesterol levels, cause triglycerides, abdominal obesity and a ton of other metabolic problems. It obviously causes insulin resistance and chronically elevates fat levels storing hormone insulin.

It is also worse to replace sugar with agave. You can use a natural sweetener that is low in fructose.

4. Low Fat Yogurt
Yogurt is a healthy food, but the problem is that most yogurts in stores are highly processed with low-fat.

Food manufacturers remove fat to make it highly tasty. For yogurt, they add high fructose corn syrup, sugar or some kinds of artificial sweetener to make it so tasty.

New studies show that saturated fat is actually harmless, so it’s better to remove fat from yogurt; but the worst thing is to replace it with something worst.

There is no evidence on dairy fat to obesity. But some studies ran on most high fat dairy products and showed that it has connection with obesity.

So, choose the yogurts with saturated fat which are real and natural; avoid the manufactured yogurts.

5. Whole Wheat Bread
It’s not bad to recommend whole wheat for refined wheat, as the whole wheat is less bad than refined wheat.

But the problem is that, whole grain foods are a marketing ploy and they aren’t made from actual whole grains.

It has hardly exception with blood sugar and the refined grains pulverizing into very fine flour to have an easy digestion. It has also same glycemic index as regular white bread contains.

Whole wheat bread may contain some more nutrients and a little more fiber, but it really affects devastatingly your system. You can get greater amounts of nutrients from other foods than whole wheat bread.

According to some studies, wheat increases the risk factors of heart disease in people who are gluten sensitive.

6. Granola
Granola would be healthy if it would be made with real ingredients. But the problem is that it’s not. Food manufacturers produce them with such an alteration that they aren’t healthy anymore.

It is encouraged for overconsumption that is why manufacturers add oil and sugar to the healthy ingredients of granola like oats and nuts to make a mixture, after that it remains only taste but no healthy food value, and it becomes very responsible for fattening.

7. Diet Soft Drinks
Diet soda is produced to reduce both sugar and calories in the diet and an effective way to replace sugar sweetened beverages.

But, some studies couldn’t find any relation with weight loss, the people who replace sugary soda with diet soda, don’t end up with less weight.

The main reason is that the artificial sweeteners that stimulate the appetite and you eat more foods and more calories. But if you change a lot of things, that may bring a better result. Without changing others, only switching to diet soda may make worse for some people.

8. Commercial Salad Dressings
There is nothing to say on the health benefits of vegetables. They contain soluble fiber, nutrients, antioxidants and various goodies. That’s why salads made from vegetables are very healthy.

But some people like taste, don’t think about health benefits and don’t like the bland taste of vegetables, so they add processed salad dressing.

Most commercial dressings are made with nasty ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, sugar and soybean oil. So, how can it be healthy?

You can make a better dressing of your own with something like vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and some spices.

Be careful that salad dressing is high in calories and tasty to consume it more.

9. Gluten Free Junk Foods
Now-a-days it is too popular to have gluten free foods.

A survey in 2013 showed that one third of Americans were trying actively to reduce the amount of gluten in their diets.

As the people are trying to have gluten free diets, seeing this, the manufacturers have jumped on the bandwagon and brought all sorts of gluten free products in the markets.

But it should keep in mind that they do all for their business, they hardly think of the people’s health. They are just as bad as their gluten containing counterparts. They make these foods with sugar, highly refined carbohydrates and various chemicals.

You can eat natural gluten free foods like plants and animals, but don’t go to the processed gluten free foods.

Keep in mind that gluten-free junk food on the label is still junk food.

10. Organic Processed Foods
The labels of the ingredients for many organic healthy meal replacement bars, snacks, crackers etc. are nearly to be same as the other processed foods have. They may contain also organic cane sugar.

So, avoid organic processed foods and eat whole, single ingredient foods.

11. Trail Mixes
Trail mixes are dried fruit, nuts or peanuts, sometimes along with some chocolate and grains. This seems to be a calorie dense snack, where the dried fruit contains concentrated sugar largely and the nuts are full with fat densely.

This is highly rich in calorie and excellent when you need more energy to continue. For instance, it’s better for the people who are hiking.

Trial mixes are a terrible combination of high-fat and high carb. So, if you want to lose weight, it’s better not to eat too much at a time.

There is a huge difference between organic whole foods and processed organic foods. Organic whole foods are better than processed organic foods.
